Calif. State University, Fullerton, Holds Workshop on Creating \u2018Legacy and Longevity\u2019 for Family-Owned Businesses<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Two Mother-Daughter Management Teams Detail Challenges of Transition to Next Generation; Pat Soldano, President Family Enterprise USA Moderates Panel Discussion and Unveils New Family Business Research<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

On June 3, California State University\u2019s Center for Family Business will hold a workshop entitled \u201cLegacy and Longevity,\u201d focused on how family-owned businesses shape legacy across generations.<\/p>\n

In addition,new findings<\/a> <\/span>on the state of America\u2019s family-owned businesses will be unveiled by Pat Soldano, President of Family Enterprise USA and Family Enterprise USA Action.<\/p>\n

The limited seating event <\/a><\/span>is designed to be a \u201ccandid conversation\u201d with two mother-daughter teams navigating real-world challenges and the generational transitions their family businesses face.<\/p>\n

The workshop event<\/span><\/a> will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and will be in the university\u2019s O\u2019Brien Center Mihaylo Hall.<\/p>\n

The mother-daughter speakers are Sherri Bovino, Chief Executive Officer, Global \u2013 A 1st<\/sup> Flagship Co., Irvine, Calif., and her daughter Paige Kavooras, Executive Vice President, at the government contractor company.<\/p>\n

The other mother-daughter team is Cindy Ayloush, Chief Executive Officer, Hydraflow, Fullerton, Calif., and her daughter, Sasha Ayloush, Vice President. Hydraflow is a maker of fluid components for the aerospace and technology industries.<\/p>\n

In addition to these speakers, Family Enterprise USA\u2019s Soldano will present on \u201cThe Challenges of Family Businesses to Create a Legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n

During her talk, Soldano will review results of the recent Family Enterprise USA 2026 Annual Family-Owned Business Survey<\/a>.<\/span> The survey asked questions of 716 family-owned businesses on such subjects as wealth taxes, pressing economic concerns of family businesses, and insights on passing businesses on to the next generation.<\/p>\n

Soldano will also assist with moderating a panel discussion along with Tim Shultz, Director, Center for Family Business at California State University.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>The event is designed to give attendees practical insight<\/span><\/a> on leadership transition, family dynamics, and sustaining long-term success,\u201d said Shultz, about the event. \u201cLegacy isn\u2019t built in a moment\u2014it\u2019s shaped across generations.\u201d<\/p>\n
